Resource: National Gallery of Art

The National Gallery of Art in Washington DC has recently released 25,000 images under an "Open Access" program for images of artworks in the public domain. You can read more about the Open Access program at the National Gallery of Art | NGA Images website.

To search, use the Advanced Search page. To view images that are available for download, make sure you use the Open Access Available option:



When you have found an image, you can then "download lecture image" to get a large version of the image, and you can use the object record to create a link.
