In the Orientation materials, I explained how you could use advanced search options at sites like Flickr and Google Images to find images that are licensed for free re-use. Another great way to find these freely licensed images is by using the search portal at the Creative Commons website.
As you can see, it allows you to type a search query in the box and then choose where you want to send your query. Creative Commons itself does not operate a search engine, but they do take your query and then add the necessary data to add the advanced search features for freely licensed images at these other websites.
