Thursday, April 27

Today is Thursday of WEEK 14. Thursday morning until noon is the grace period if you did not finish the Reading Diary that was due on Wednesday... the last Reading Diary of the semester! Here is a link to this week's assignments.

Class Procedures and Reminders

Project Stack. On Wednesday, I read through all the assignments turned in by 10PM on Sunday. I'll finish the Sunday assignments today and move on to the assignments turned in during the week! You can check the stack to make sure I received your assignment.

Finishing the class. So many people are finishing up the class now, which is just great! As soon as you have the points you need for the grade you want (410 for an A, 360 for a B, 320 for a C), just let me know and I will mark the final grade for you in D2L so you will know that you are all done. If you have questions about any of that, please ask.

The following items are for fun and exploration:

The Dog Ate My Homework. Yes, your dog feels your pain at this crunch-time of the semester!

Words of Wisdom: Today's proverb poster is Not my monkeys, not my circus (a Polish proverb). Details at the Proverb Lab. Here's the Polish: Nie moje małpy, nie mój cyrk.

Today's Video: The Divine Comedy ("Rapture" by Blondie). Yes, it's another video from the amazing Amy Burvall!

Growth Mindset: Today's growth mindset cat is one I found on Google+ today: If you only focus on the problem, you might miss the easy solution. Details here blog.
