Success Tip: Use the OU Libraries. Bizzell and the other OU Libraries offer an amazing range of resources and services. Find out more at the Library Services index, and remember: Bizzell is open until 2AM tonight and every Sunday night during the semester.

Project Stack. I'll be updating the stack periodically today, and you can check the stack to make sure I received your project email. The sooner you can get that turned in today, the sooner you will get comments back next week!

The following items are for fun and exploration:

Blog Stream. Taylor started with a far-out story and found a far-out first-person style to really bring it to life, too: Storytime With Samael. This is an old Jewish legend about Adam and Eve, and in Taylor's story you hear it as told by the angel Samael himself.

Words from India. This is one of the most important words from India that English has adopted: MANTRA.

Myth Video: Here's a song from an amazing musical that is, in many ways, like a Storybook project for this class: Hadestown. Find out more at Wikipedia, and check out the lyrics at Genius.com.

India Comic Book: And here's a good reason for those of you in Indian Epics to use Bizzell: all the ACK comic books are on Reserve! Today's comic book is Mahiravana: A Magician Outwitted, the legend of Ravana's magician son and how he kidnapped Rama and Lakshmana, hoping to sacrifice them to the goddess Durga. See the Amar Chitra Katha blog for the Bizzell Reserve call number and more information.

Proverb of the Day: Today's proverb is from the Biblical story of Cain and Abel: Am I my brother’s keeper? . Find out more at the Proverb Laboratory.

Writing: Writing creatively has a lot in common with living creatively. For example: plot twist!

Reading.: And here are some wise words about storytelling from J. K. Rowling.

Growth Mindset: Today's growth mindset cat knows that creativity is a process: I plan; I design; I create. You can find out more at the Growth Mindset blog.

Video: Some of you learned read an article by Marshall Goldsmith last week, so I thought you might enjoy his video: Feedforward.

Event on Campus: Drop by the Fred Jones Jr. Museum of Art to see Fine Print! Posters from the Permanent Collection; on Sunday, the museum is open from 1PM-5PM (details). Find out more about this and other events at the Campus Calendar online.
