Today is Friday of Week 14... you have reached the end of Week 14! Here is a link to the Week 14 assignments and also to Week 15. Hopefully the remaining Week 14 assignments will give you everything you need to finish up, but there is a whole week of Week 15 (Dead Week) assignments if you need one more week of points to finish up the class.

Class Procedures and Reminders

Week 14 Blog Comments. After the grace period is over this morning, I'll update the randomizer with any new stories from this week, plus you can add to the Advice Padlet as part of this week's blog commenting. Project Stack. I got through all the Sunday assignments yesterday, and I hope to get through all or almost all of the stack today; at a minimum I will get through all the Week 13 assignments by the end of today. As usual, you can check the stack to make sure I received your email.

Featured Storybook.Here is a beautiful Myth-Folklore project from last year: The Dragon under the Yew. This is the story of a terrifying dragon and the unexpected knight who goes forth to defeat that dragon, with the help of his fiancee and her mysterious father.

April 26: Jet Li. Today is the birthday of Jet Li, a Chinese martial arts master and film star, who was born in 1963. Happy Birthday, Jet Li! You can read more about Jet Li's life and career in this Wikipedia article. Jet Li has made some wonderful movies with mythological and legendary themes. For children and adults alike, there is The Forbidden Kingdom, in which he plays the Monkey King (and the Silent Monk), with Jackie Chan as his costar.
