Class Procedures and Reminders
Success Tip: Work ahead of the deadlines! The Review Week this week is a great opportunity to work ahead of the deadlines since you can easily do the Tues-Wed-Thurs assignments this week all at once, hopefully today. You can then look back to your ideal schedule for the class and the days when it is really most convenient for you to do the work so that you can get on that schedule for the rest of the semester.
Project Stack. This week is the single busiest week of the semester for me with all the new Portfolio and Storybook stories. The stack is huge. While you are waiting on comments back from me about your Project assignment, you can check the stack to make sure I received your email. Many of you will have a free pass for the Week 8 project, so don't worry if you don't get comments back on your Week 7 project this week; you'll have the free pass coming up for Week 8!
The following items are for fun and exploration:

Proverb of the Day: Today's proverb is from Kenya: People scratch where they can reach. Find out more at the Proverb Laboratory.
Growth Mindset: And here's a cat to teach you about growth mindset: Sometimes, being wrong is the only way we can learn. You can find out more at the Growth Mindset blog.
