Today is Thursday of Week 11. In this strange semester, that means you might be working on Week 11 items, or you might still be working on Week 10; you can see how all that works at the class calendar.

Class Procedures and Reminders

Project Stack. If you turned in your project before 10PM on Sunday, you should have comments back from me, and today I'll finish the Sunday items and then I'll start in on the projects turned in on Monday. As always you can check the stack to make sure I received your project.

Mix-and-match. Many of you are close to being done with the class (either with a letter grade or with the P/pass grade that you can choose this semester), so I wanted to remind you that you can mix-and-match the assignments you prefer. If you like working on your project, you can focus on that as you finish up, or you might prefer to do different kinds of extra credit, or maybe you want to do a lot of reading. Whatever combination of assignments you use to reach your goal for the class (410 A, 360 B, 320 C or P, 301 P), that's works!

Blog Stream. A lot of you in Indian Epics have been reading about Krishna, and I noticed this gorgeous painting of Krishna in Amandeep's reading notes:

Indian Epics Today. The epic character of the day is Ghatotkacha, the rakshasa son of the Pandava hero Bhima; more about Ghatotkacha. Here is his final battle, dueling with Karna:
