Classes begin officially on Tuesday, January 20. I'll be making the courses available one week early, on Monday, January 12 - so please check back then if you would like to get a head start on the new semester.

Today I finished the list of Technology Tips - it took longer than I thought, but the results are good: there are now 30 tips, so that students who are returning from Fall semester can actually do all-new tips if they want. You can see the complete list of Technology Tips here, and these are the new ones, some of which are revived and updated from last year, but which I had not used in the Fall, and some of which are totally new:

Today I focused on getting the new, expanded list of Technology Tips ready - I'm not quite done, but almost! Now there will be enough new tips for students who are taking a second class with me, plus it gives an even wider range of tips for everybody to choose from. I really enjoy putting together these tips - and it makes me wish that in addition to my regular classes, I could teach a course on the Internet itself. There is so much to learn from looking at how it is evolving (and how we are participating in that evolution!).

So far, I have updated all the class calendars - so all the automatic notifications at the course website, in Desire2Learn, and in GoogleCalendar are all set up and ready to go from now until May 8, the last day of classes! :-)
