Shiva at CERN. I wrote up a blog post about the beautiful statue of Shiva as Nataraja, Lord of the Dance, at CERN, the nuclear research center.


Labyrinths. The "y" in the spelling is a clue that this word came to English via Greek. According to ancient mythology, King Minos of Crete imprisoned the Minotaur (half-man, half-bull) inside the winding "labyrinth" built by Daedalus. You can learn more about the labyrinth legend at this blog post, and this YouTube video is about the practice of "labyrinth walking."
