Today is Thursday of Week 13. For many of you, today is Storytelling Day. For some of you it might be your last storytelling blog post, so go wild and have fun! Here is a link to all of the Week 13 assignments.

Class Procedures and Reminders

Project Stack. If you turned in an assignment before 9PM on Sunday, you should have comments back from me. I'll get through the rest of the Sunday assignments today I hope! While you are waiting on comments back from me about your Project assignment, you can check the stack to make sure I received your email.

Blog Stream. I really enjoyed reading Laura's reflections here, especially about how hard it can be to sit still and pay attention for long stretches of time: School Learning vs. Summer Camp . I also like to move around, and the flexibility of online appeals to me: I can take lots of breaks!


India Item. I've got a long list of books that I want to read this summer, and this is one of them, a new YA novel inspired by ancient Indian storytelling: Sayantani Dasgupta's The Serpent’s Secret. I read about it here: Ancient Folklore with a Modern Twist. The ancient legends of India are going strong in modern fantasy fiction!


Myth Video: And here's a Crash Course video about one of the most popular genres of mythology: Monsters. They're Us, Man.
