Free Audiobook. Today's free book is A House Of Pomegranates by Oscar Wilde. One of Oscar Wilde's many literary talents was his ability to write beautiful fairy tales!
Featured Storybook. This Storybook is a great example of how you can bring together stories from different cultures into a single project: Desperate Goddesses: Life on Mythological Lane. Izanami-no-Mikoto, the Japanese goddess of creation, has left the world of the living long behind, but she still watches over the desperate goddesses of Mythological Lane — Aphrodite, Pele, Ishtar, and Devi.

Myth Item. This English word comes from Greek myth: TITANIC, referring to the huge Greek gods called Titans.
India Item. Here is a word from India that we use in English: CALICO, as in calico cat. English "calico" is from the name of the city of of "Calicut" on the Malabar coast of India in Kerala.

April 15: Leonardo da Vinci. Today marks the birthday in the year 1452 of the remarkable Leonardo da Vinci, who was a genius in math, science and engineering, as well as being a famous artist. You can read about his remarkable life and career in Wikipedia. You probably know his "Vitruvian Man," so here's a TED video about that, and Vitruvian Man also has a Wikipedia article.
