Class Procedures and Reminders
Project Stack. I don't update the Project stack as often on the weekends, but I'll update it at least once or twice today so you can check to make sure I received your assignment. If you want comments back on your assignment sooner rather than later, turn in your work earlier on Sunday rather than waiting until later. The sooner you are able to turn that in, the sooner you'll get comments back, and this coming week is a very busy one with lots of Storybook stories coming in!
Week 8 Assignments. (repeat announcement) There is no new reading in Week 8, and instead there are just some review activities. You can see how that works in the Week 8 assignments list. I hope you will have fun with this change of pace for the middle of the semester!

March 6: Andrzej Wajda. Today marks the birthday of one of the world's great film directors: Andrzej Wajda, who was born in 1926 — it's his 90th birthday! He has made so many amazing films, and one of my favorites is his biographical film about Janusz Korczak, a Polish educator and director of the Jewish orphanage in the Warsaw Ghetto; he died with the children of the orphanage in the Nazi death camp at Treblinka. You can read more about the film here: Korczak.
