HAPPY FRIDAY! You have reached the end of Week 10. Here is a link to the Week 10 assignments which you need to finish up today or this weekend, and a link to Week 11 also. (Can you believe Week 10 is almost over???)

Class Procedures and Reminders

New Project feedback option. Now that the projects are moving right along in both classes, starting in Week 10, you can find your free choice among the projects from the other class if you want. You'll see how that works when you get to the Week 10 feedback assignment. I hope you will have fun browsing around the projects in the other class!

Project Stack. I read and replied to all the Sunday assignments, and I'll get through as much of the rest of the stack as I can today. You can check the stack to make sure I received your email.

The following items are for fun and exploration:

Blog Stream. In Hoai-Quoc's Story Lab post yesterday, I saw this fabulous cartoon: Artwork. It's from Fowl Language Comics, one of my favorites.

Featured Storybook. If you like Doctor Who, you will like this time-and-space-travel Storybook: Hello, when am I? It's a mash-up in time and space as you find the story of Rama and Sita set in Verona, the story of Draupadi and her husbands set in the Wild West — so, jump through the time portal and see where it takes you!

India Video. And here's an Epified video about a more conventional form of travel: Ships of Ancient India.

Myth Video. I'm sure you know Maui is the name of an island, but did you know he was a hero too? Ma'ui, Oceania's Hero.

Myth-Folklore. I thought this material from NPR might be of interest to everyone in Myth-Folklore this week: The Map Of Native American Tribes You've Never Seen Before.

Writing. Yes, you could mess with me this way, ha ha: Passive v. Active.

And here's a combination of Halloween and procrastination humor: Unfinished Business.

Growth Mindset Cats. Whatever you do, don't give up.

And here's something from Mister Rogers to inspire your creativity!

Event near Campus. Brenna is in OU’s student-led acapella group, The Crimson Chords, and they'll be performing at Second Wind Coffeehouse on Campus Corner at 7PM (details).

Find out more about this and other events at the Campus Calendar online.

October 26: Carlo Collodi. Today marks the anniversary of the death in 1890 of the Italian author, Carlo Collodi, who is best known today as the creator of the the story of Pinocchio, the little boy made of wood. If you have never read the actual Pinocchio story, I highly recommend it. Here is Pinocchio in English online. The image below is from an English version with the Attilio Mussino illustrations:
